Release Notes:

The quartet setting is a demanding one for the trumpet and Lee
Morgan was only 19 years old when he cut this masterpiece. He is
unceasingly inventive on this interesting mix of standards, pop
tunes, and jazz pieces. The rhythm section of Sonny Clark, Doug
Watkin,s and Art Taylor is superb throughout. An additional tune
from the sessions has been added to the original album.
